 The State Umbrella Organizations for Florida Nonprofits, Florida Association of Nonprofit Organizations (FANO) is commemorating 20 years of continuous educational services in Florida's nonprofit community by presenting our Nationally recognized   Sunshine Certificate in Nonprofit Management in coordination with Nova-Southeastern University Fisher School of Education & Broward College School of Continuing Education.

June 5-8, 2013 FANO partnered with Health Choice Network Annual Educational Institute and our 22nd Annual Florida Nonprofit Conference.

Did you miss the Conference in 2013?

 September 7-10, 2013, FANO partnered with Florida Association of Museums and their Annual State Conference. Participants benefited by engaging with stimulating educational keynoters, workshop panelists and nonprofit leaders from major institutions. PLUS on Saturday the Sunshine Certificate in Nonprofit Management began and continued with special pre/post conference classes of 11 vital topics defined by the Principles and Practices for Florida Nonprofit Excellence.  The Certification Intensive's 11 classes was completed in 4 days.


Our Mission: FANO is a state-wide center and professional network of 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organizations in Florida. It was founded by a nonprofit leaders in 1989 to enhance the well being of all people in the communities in Florida by building the capacity of the nonprofit sector. FANO assists 52,000 nonprofits to reach their mission by strengthening their leadership, management, financial, and public policy capacity.
